Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Purpose

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the terms under which refunds, ride cancellations, and fare adjustments are handled for rides booked via the Onde India application or website operated by GK Cabs Company.

2. Ride Cancellation by Rider

  • Riders may cancel a booking anytime before the driver begins the trip.
  • If a cancellation occurs after a driver has been assigned or reached the pickup point, a cancellation fee may apply to compensate the driver for time and fuel.
  • Cancellation charges will be displayed in the app before confirmation.

3. Ride Cancellation by Driver

  • If a driver cancels a ride without valid reason, the platform may take disciplinary action against the driver.
  • Riders will not be charged if the driver cancels the booking before pickup.

4. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are applicable only under the following conditions:

  • Double payment charged due to technical error.
  • Trip cancelled by the system or driver after payment deduction.
  • Ride not completed due to verified service failure (e.g., app malfunction, driver no-show).

5. Refund Process

  • Users must raise a refund request through the app or by emailing support@ondeindia.com within 48 hours of the incident.
  • Refunds (if approved) will be credited to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • Refund approvals are subject to verification and company discretion.

6. Non-Refundable Situations

  • Rider cancels after driver has started or reached the location.
  • Rider provides incorrect pickup or drop location.
  • No-show by rider after driver arrival.
  • Fare differences due to route changes or traffic delays.

7. Payment Disputes

If a payment dispute arises (e.g., unauthorized transactions), users should contact customer support. The company may request additional information to verify and process such claims.

8. Service Interruption

In rare cases of technical issues or force majeure events (system downtime, network outage, natural disaster), refunds will be processed only after internal verification of affected transactions.

9. Policy Updates

GK Cabs Company reserves the right to modify or update this policy at any time. Updates will be posted on the app and website. Continued use of the service indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
